INTEREST GROUPS
GALAXY SILVER STARS

Started in 2012, Galaxy Silverstars have organised cultural events in Woodlands Galaxy CC. They have also performed in other Community clubs around Singapore. They are an interest group under Woodlands Galaxy IAEC and helps IAEC in organising its events too.
They have a Chenda group for men and women and both groups have performed in numerous Woodlands community events.
Galaxy Silver Stars team comprises working adults, house wives and kids staying in and around Woodlands Galaxy CC.
HIMALAYAN CRICKET CLUB
The cricket interest group was started in 2006 in Admiral Garden CC.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong inaugurated the club during his visit to Admiral Garden CC. Admiral Garden CC is currently known as Woodlands Galaxy CC.
The interest group is known as the Himalayan Cricket Club and they are two teams playing in the Singapore Cricket League Division 4 and 5.
THUNDER BOLTS
Bowling interest group get together to paly every weekends at NS Men Club at Bukit Batok. The Bowling interest group organises one tournament a year and also takes part in Woodlands CSC Bowling tournament and other CC tournaments.
Family Fun Bowl: This event encourages families to get together and have a fun time. Everyone get a prize!
GALAXY SMASHERS

Galaxy Smashers team comprises shuttlers who want to stay fit. They group are made of families where parents and children play and bond together. They play regularly at Woodlands Galaxy CC Jupiter Hall or at Spectra School on Tuesdays.
JUNIOR SCIENCE CLUB
Join as a member now! Register yourself at Woodlands Galaxy CC now.
Fees: $20 per year
Organised trips to farms, educational events and Institutions, Parks, Gardens, Recycling and Dengue Prevention programs etc.
Robotics team from Woodlands Ring Secondary School helps out in promoting their skills as part of the Science Club program in Woodlands Galaxy CC. Woodlands Ring Primary School helps out in the environment events and some of the kids are anintegral part of the Science Club.
ITE School West helps out Woodlands residents to learn how to set up LAN connection in their homes and also help out in Recycling and Dengue prevention programs.
GALAXY UNITED SOCCER CLUB
Teens from Woodlands and other towns near by make up the Galaxy United Soccer Club. They play every Sundays, 9 am to 11 am at Woodlands Ring Secondary School ground. There are 30 members in the team.
A Kids team is also forming up. Currently at 11 members, they are looking to increase the intake.
KARAOKE INTEREST GROUP
Karaoke Interest group is open for more members. Sing your favourite Hindi and Tamil songs. Songs from other languages are also encouraged.
Tamil Karaoke Talent Time: A recently concluded Karaoke competition drew around 14 Singers and 100 supporters. This will be a yearly event.
ADMIRAL GARDEN CHESS CLUB
This Group promotes Chess in Woodlands. Join the team to enjoy some mind blowing chess moves.
The team is planning to organise a Chess competition in early 2015.

About us

Galaxy Astronomy Club was formed in 06 April 2008, supported by the Admiral Garden CC IAEC.
It was originally named Admiral Garden Astronomy Club in the days of void deck CC. With the opening of the new Galaxy CC, we moved in and changed our name to coincide with the new theme.
It was formed for educational purposes, for people of all races and religion, for the primary purpose of developing and implementing programs designed to increase the awareness and knowledge of astronomy in Woodlands.
GalaxyAstro is a non-profit club dedicated to providing the opportunity for all individuals to pursue the science of astronomy, by observing in a dark-sky site, learning astronomy through sessions, and sharing their knowledge and experience.

GALAXY SEPAK TEKRAW CLUB
A bridge between the Malay community and Indian community through a game of Sepak Tekraw. The team plays regularly at the Woodlands Sports Park near Woodlands Galaxy CC.
Occassional pot luck gatherings brings the two communities together.
Bolly X
An interest group that combines Bollywood dance and exercise together to create thrilling dance sequences. The members are a very fun loving group and practices weekly in Woodlands Galaxy CC Dance Studio. If you are eager to join them, just get in touch with the CC.
They have performed during numerous Woodlands community events and have enthralled the crowds with their infectious dance moves.
They also take part in various dance competitions and recently they were champions for the Ngee Ann City - PA Dancethon event.
Kurrisingal
A unique interest group that focuses on traditional music, folk songs, dances and art forms from Kerala. They have performed in community clubs in Singapore.
